BRHC Executive Director International Affairs Engineer Md Mozammel Haque said the organisation had long supported Bangladeshi patients seeking treatment in China and would now expand its role.

“BRHC has long served as a trusted medical tourism facilitator for Bangladeshi patients seeking advanced treatment in China. This agreement empowers us to provide even more comprehensive services including expert consultation, hospital appointment scheduling and medical visa assistance further strengthening our commitment to seamless and professional healthcare facilitation. We are confident this initiative will open new horizons in the medical tourism sector,” he said.

BRHC Deputy Manager Operations Abidur Rahman said the demand for treatment in China was rising but patients often lacked guidance.

“The number of Bangladeshi patients seeking medical treatment in China is growing steadily. However many face significant challenges due to a lack of proper guidance. BRHC is fully committed to simplifying and streamlining this process through coordinated professional services. This agreement will ensure that patients receive internationally standardised high-quality medical care with complete transparency,” he said.

The partnership is expected to strengthen Bangladesh’s growing medical tourism segment while expanding Jamuna Bank’s value-added services. The bank said the agreement reflects its broader strategy to build a comprehensive financial ecosystem that supports customer needs both domestically and internationally.
