Pakistani actress Vaneeza Sattar has dismissed rumours linking her to former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik, criticising social media users for spreading unverified claims to gain views and attention, writes Pro Pakistani.
The actress addressed the speculation through her Instagram Story after resharing a viral clip discussing the alleged marriage.
“Oh my God, guys, not again,” Sattar wrote, expressing frustration over the recurring rumours.
“Imagine having so many things to talk about in the world and still choosing to make up false news about someone just for a few views,” she added.
This is not the first time Sattar has spoken out against the claims. During previous television appearances, she said she had never met Malik in person and questioned how the rumours had originated.
The actress also revealed that she initially dismissed the reports as a joke.
However, the situation became uncomfortable when friends and relatives began contacting her family to ask whether the claims were true.
Her latest response has once again drawn attention to the spread of unverified celebrity relationship rumours on social media.
Sattar has criticised those who circulate false information about public figures and their personal lives for online engagement.
Malik, meanwhile, has faced repeated speculation about his personal life. He married Pakistani actress Sana Javed in January 2024, following his separation from Indian tennis star Sania Mirza.
In September, the former cricketer responded humorously to reports suggesting that he was preparing for a fourth marriage.
Neither Sattar nor Malik has provided any confirmation of the alleged marriage circulating online. Sattar’s latest statement instead rejects the speculation and highlights the personal consequences of spreading unverified claims.
