Iranian authorities have detained 25 people in West Azerbaijan province, accusing them of transmitting “news and images from sensitive sites” to media outlets labeled as hostile, according to Tasnim news agency, which cited the provincial police chief.
Officials have repeatedly cautioned citizens against cooperating with organisations they classify as adversarial particularly those allegedly linked to the United States and Israel amid the ongoing war.
