The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has summoned Supreme Court lawyer Fazlur Rahman on charges of contempt of court.
He has been asked to appear before ICT-1 on 8 December to explain the allegations brought against him.
The prosecution submitted an application regarding the matter to the ICT registrar’s office on 26 November.
According to the prosecution, Fazlur recently made objectionable remarks about the ICT, which were published in various media outlets.
Fazlur is a BNP-nominated candidate for Kishoreganj-4 (Itna–Mithamain–Austagram) in the 13th national election.
