Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has once again spoken warmly about Bangladesh. He thanked the country’s football fans after Argentina beat Jordan 3-1 to finish the group stage unbeaten and book a place in the World Cup knockout round.
After the match, Martinez was asked about the huge support Argentina receive from Bangladesh. The World Cup winner said he still remembers his visit to the country and the love shown by its people.
“I love the fans from Bangladesh. I love this country. I know how crazy they are about us. I can say that from my experience of visiting there. I think, in one way or another, they are all Argentine.”
