Hollywood’s biggest names brought high fashion to the red carpet as the 15th LACMA Art+Film Gala took place at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on 7 November.
According to Vogue, the annual event welcomed actors, musicians, models and artists for an evening celebrating the relationship between art and cinema.
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio and LACMA trustee Eva Chow co-chaired the gala, while artist Vija Celmins and filmmaker Denis Villeneuve received special honours.
Fashion took centre stage, with Gucci serving as the event’s presenting sponsor. Several guests wore designs from the Italian fashion house, while others opted for creations by international designers.
Kim Kardashian arrived in Gucci, while her sister Kylie Jenner chose Ashi Studio. Anya Taylor-Joy stood out in a vintage Pierre Cardin creation, and Nicole Kidman wore Chanel. Julia Garner represented Loewe, while pop star Rosé opted for Saint Laurent.
Other notable appearances included Viola Davis and Sarah Paulson in Gucci, Brittany Snow in vintage Ralph Lauren and Paris Hilton in Jenny Packham. Salma Hayek-Pinault, Sienna Miller, Emily Ratajkowski and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also wore Gucci designs.
Andrew Garfield, Denis Villeneuve and several other male guests embraced formalwear, adding to the evening’s sophisticated red-carpet display.
The gala also featured appearances by Monica Barbaro, Vittoria Ceretti, Isabel May, Lindsey Vonn, Alix Earle and Ashley Park, who wore Prabal Gurung.
Now in its 15th year, the LACMA Art+Film Gala supports the museum’s efforts to expand its film-related exhibitions, acquisitions and educational programmes. Gucci has served as the event’s presenting sponsor since its launch in 2011.
