The Dhaka District Administration has launched a digital service platform called Hello DC to make civic services easier, faster, and smarter for the public.

This initiative aims to bring essential services directly to the doorsteps of residents, allowing citizens of Dhaka district to access facilities from the comfort of their homes.

The app was officially inaugurated on Tuesday afternoon at Dhaka District Administration office.

Through this mobile application, citizens can access various government services, file complaints, and obtain information regarding government programmes and important contacts. The platform also features emergency information and a service-tracking facility.

The platform has been introduced under the slogan, “Our commitment is to make modern technology services easier, faster, and smarter.” This initiative is a key part of the Dhaka District Administration’s broader efforts to expand digital services.

Speaking at the launch, Dhaka Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanam remarked that this is the first time such an online-based service has been introduced in a district in Bangladesh.

She highlighted that service seekers can now monitor the progress of their applications from home. The initiative is designed to ensure that civic services are not only easy, fast, and smart but also transparent and accountable.
