The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast moderately heavy to heavy rainfall for the Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions over the 24 hours following 9am on Tuesday.
According to the latest weather bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning flashes, will likely affect numerous locations within the Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
Similar conditions may also occur in several parts of the Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions, with the possibility of moderately heavy to heavy falls at various places across the country.
While rain is expected in certain regions, a mild heat wave continues to sweep across the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Jashore, Chuadanga, Kushtia, and Khulna.
Meteorologists anticipate that these conditions may persist. Furthermore, both day and night temperatures throughout the nation are expected to remain nearly unchanged.
The Trough persists from Gangetic West Bengal to Northwest Bay. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate elsewhere over North Bay.
