HBO Max, the premier streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery, has officially launched in Bangladesh, offering subscribers access to an extensive library of movies, series and family entertainment for USD 4.99 per month.
The service is now available in 15 new markets, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, Macau, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Ukraine, among others.
Subscribers in Bangladesh can now stream content from HBO, Max Originals, Warner Bros., the DC Universe and Discovery, as well as enjoy blockbuster films, award-winning series, real-life documentaries and children’s entertainment all in one place.
Popular titles currently available include Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The Penguin, The Pitt, and major movie collections such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings and The Matrix.
Discovery series like Deadliest Catch and Gold Rush and children’s favourites such as Tom and Jerry, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball and Looney Tunes are also on offer. Iconic shows like Friends and The Big Bang Theory will be added in January 2026.
HBO Max will premiere the highly anticipated HBO Original series IT: Welcome to Derry on October 27. The drama, set in Stephen King’s IT universe, is developed for television by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs. Upcoming movie releases on the platform include M3GAN 2.0, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, How To Train Your Dragon and Weapons.
The streaming platform allows users to enjoy content across multiple devices, including LG and Samsung in select markets, and even access their accounts while traveling. Subscribers can create up to five unique profiles, customize avatars, receive personalized recommendations, continue watching from where they left off, and download content to watch offline. Parents can set up profiles for children with curated, age-appropriate content and optional controls.
The subscription plans in Bangladesh offer multiple options: the Standard plan is USD 4.99 per month or USD 34.99 for a year, allowing streaming on two devices in full HD with 30 downloads. The Premium plan is USD 7.49 per month or USD 49.99 for a year, offering streaming on four devices in 4K Ultra HD where available, Dolby Atmos audio, and up to 100 downloads.
