A new Eid television drama directed by Hanif Sanket is set to reach audiences this festive season, featuring Jannatul Sumaiya Heme and Irfan Sajjad in the lead roles.
Titled ‘Bhalobeshe Obosheshe’, the drama will accompany the Eid broadcast of Hanif Sanket’s long-running magazine programme ‘Ityadi’.
The story of the drama follows two childhood companions whose lives take different directions as they grow older. Years after leaving the country for higher studies, the female protagonist returns to her village, where an unexpected reunion with her former friend revives memories of their past and begins a new chapter in their lives.
Sajjad appears as Rana, while Heme portrays Neela. The supporting cast includes notable performers such as Shahiduzzaman Selim, Munmun Ahmed, Arfan Ahmed and Subhashis Bhowmik, along with several other familiar faces from television.
The drama will be broadcast on ATN Bangla at 8:50 pm on Eid day. Over the years, Hanif Sanket’s festive television projects released alongside Ityadi have become a regular highlight of Eid programming for viewers.
