Television actress Keya Payel has performed Umrah in the holy city of Makkah, sharing her experience on social media and urging followers to refrain from making offensive comments.
On Saturday afternoon, 10 October, the actress shared a video recorded in front of the Holy Kaaba. Wearing a black burqa, she is seen standing before the sacred structure.
Captioning the video, Keya wrote, “Alhamdulillah, one of the best days of my life.”
The actress also used the post to address people who leave negative comments on social media, asking them to refrain from making offensive remarks.
“Do not reveal your narrow-mindedness through inappropriate comments. Your comments reflect your taste, personality and mindset. Before belittling others, take a moment to look at your own mindset,” she wrote.
Through her message, Keya urged social media users to communicate with greater restraint and respect.
