Agitated students and people are protesting in Chattogram following the news of Inqilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi’s death.
They began protesting after gathering at the Sholoshahar intersection around 11pm on Thursday.
Protesters have blockaded the Chattogram-Fatikchhari road. The agitated crowd is chanting various slogans in protest against Hadi’s killing.
The protesters have also announced plans to lay siege to the Indian Assistant High Commission established in Chattogram. Their demand is that the Indian High Commission must be shut down.
