Grameenphone has expanded its footprint in north-western Bangladesh with the inauguration of a new Grameenphone Centre (GPC) at Dinajpur, reinforcing its commitment to reliable connectivity and enhanced customer experience.
The centre, located at Ganeshtola of Dinajpur, was launched in the presence of Grameenphone Chief Risk Officer Md Arif Uddin, Head of Customer Experience Abdullah Al Mahmud, Circle Business Head for Rajshahi Atiqul Hossain, and Dinajpur GPC Partner Tamal Majumder.
Designed to reflect local heritage, the centre features terracotta walls inspired by the intricate motifs of Kantajew Temple.
According to a press release, nearly 99 per cent of services are paperless, and sustainable materials have been used throughout the facility, underscoring Grameenphone’s focus on digital transformation and environmental sustainability.
Dinajpur, known for its fertile agricultural lands, litchis, and aromatic Kataribhog rice, also attracts visitors to Kantajew Temple and Ramsagar National Park. Rising urbanisation, educational growth, and digital adoption have increased demand for seamless connectivity and modern services in the region.
Arif Uddin said, “We believe every interaction matters, and this centre is designed to offer a modern, seamless, and sustainable experience that truly puts customers at the heart of everything we do.”
The centre aims to provide dependable connectivity and a future-ready customer experience for Dinajpur residents, reinforcing Grameenphone’s regional engagement strategy.
