The government has formed an advisory council committee to get advice on issues under the jurisdiction of the Information Ministry, just five months ahead of the national polls.
The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification announcing the formation of a committee on Tuesday.
The five-member committee is led by Planning Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud while other members of the committee are Industries Adviser Adilur Rahman, Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Information Adviser Mahfuj Alam and Chief Adviser’s Envoy for International Affairs Lutfey Siddiqi.
It will take immediate effect, reads the notification.
