Gas supply will remain suspended for 22 hours, from 9am on Friday to 7am on Saturday, in several areas of Dhaka’s Savar upazila and Gazipur district due to emergency maintenance work on the Titas Gas transmission line.
According to a press release issued by the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited, the shutdown will affect all categories of consumers, including residential, commercial, and industrial users, in the areas of Kodda, Konabari, Jarun, Surabari, Kashimpur, Maowchak, Safipur, Chandra, Kaliakair, Sreepur, Nabinagar, Savar Cantonment, Ashulia, Zirabo, and adjacent areas.
The company apologised for the temporary inconvenience and urged consumers in the affected areas to take necessary precautions during the suspension period.
