Vehicles lined up at fuel stations in Dhaka on Monday as supply shortage hit the capital, causing frustration among motorists.
At Asad Gate, cars and motorcycles were seen queuing for hours, while several filling stations near Bijoy Sarani struggled to meet demand. Some pumps were unable to supply fuel altogether, intensifying the rush at those still operating.

The shortage has led to heavy congestion around key intersections, with drivers reporting delays and uncertainty over when supplies will normalise.
