A human chain was held demanding the swift arrest of all accused in the murder case of film actor Salman Shah and calling for a fair and impartial investigation to ensure justice.
The programme took place on Saturday (June 20) at 2:30 pm in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka. Fans of Salman Shah from different districts across the country joined the demonstration. The event was organised by “Salman Shah Fans from All Districts.”
Speakers at the human chain alleged that despite the passage of a long time, the true circumstances surrounding the death of the popular actor have not yet been uncovered, and justice remains elusive.
They urged authorities to immediately arrest all accused in the case and conduct a transparent and impartial investigation to reveal the truth. According to the speakers, Salman Shah was a shining star of Dhallywood, and his untimely death has left a deep wound in the hearts of his admirers.
During the programme, participants carried banners and placards and raised slogans demanding justice. The event ended peacefully, with organisers announcing that they would continue their movement until their demands are met.
