Popular singer Fahmida Nabi has returned to the spotlight with a new set of songs evoking the melodic spirit of the 1990s. She recently recorded three tracks that deliberately revisit the sound sensibility and emotional texture of that influential musical era.
The songs ‘Dukher Dalil Tai Kori’ and ‘Ashlo Na Brishti’ feature lyrics by Golam Morshed and compositions by Shams Suman, who is also the musical director for the music videos. The team plans to release the songs gradually after completing the video production over the coming weeks.
Fahmida Nabi said she continues to feel deeply connected to the melodies of the 1990s which remain a lasting inspiration. She explained that the lyrics carry melancholy while the arrangements blend nostalgic elements with restrained contemporary musical touches.
The singer has also recently released ‘Brishti Tumi Jhorchhile Sedin’ now streaming on Spriha Multimedia’s official YouTube channel. She further informed that listeners have responded positively to the song across digital platforms since its release.
“Music is my primary identity,” Fahmida Nabi said, adding that she hopes to continue creating quality music for her audience.
