Former Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun was brought before the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Monday morning.
The ICT-1 is scheduled to convene around 11am to deliver the judgment in a crimes against humanity case filed against ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina. The other two accused are former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former IGP Mamun.

However, Mamun is now a state witness in the case. He is the first defendant to become a state witness since the tribunal was formed in 2010.
