The Social Welfare Club of Eastern University has distributed blankets to cold-stricken and underprivileged people in Bahadurpur Bazaar, located in Padmarpar area of Harirampur Upazila, Manikganj.
This humanitarian initiative highlights the university’s commitment to social responsibility and supporting disadvantaged communities.
The blanket distribution program was led by Dr Sharmin Islam, Coordinator of the Social Welfare Club. Financial support for the initiative was provided by the board members of the Eastern University Foundation, ensuring its successful implementation.
K M Monirul Islam, Deputy Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Placement at Eastern University, also provided overall cooperation.
Members of the Social Welfare Club, made up of students from various departments, eagerly participated in the initiative and distributed blankets to those in need.
