Energypac Fashions Limited has launched “EcoFill”, a sustainability initiative aimed at reducing the consumption of single-use plastic bottles by more than one million by 2030.
The project reinforces the company’s broader Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitment to responsible resource use and sustainable workplace practices, reads a press release.
Under the “EcoFill” initiative, Energypac Fashions has replaced single-use plastic bottles with reusable glass versions for employees, visitors, partners, and stakeholders across its offices and factories.
The company has also installed refill stations throughout its premises, allowing staff to top up the same bottle throughout the day rather than relying on water packaged in single-use plastic.
Each refill station is equipped with a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system to filter water and a sterilisation process to ensure bottles are clean and safe for use before every refill.
Built around the principle of “Refill. Reuse. Respect.”, the initiative encourages all stakeholders to make sustainability a part of their daily work routine.
“EcoFill” serves as an extension of Energypac’s existing environmental commitments. The company had previously launched an initiative to repurpose plastic bottles into plant pots, providing an eco-friendly and aesthetic alternative to disposal.
The initiative aligns with global environmental sustainability goals and is an integral component of Energypac’s broader ESG strategy.
Commenting on the launch, Energypac Fashions Ltd Chairman Humayun Rashid said, “True sustainability is built through consistent action, not aspiration.”
“EcoFill is another milestone in our ESG journey, reinforcing our commitment to reducing plastic waste, promoting responsible consumption, and creating a workplace where sustainability becomes part of everyday decision-making”, he added.
