‘Emily in Paris’ is set to progress with its sixth season, exiting Italy after season five, and venturing into new European backdrops with Greece and Monaco.
Since the series’ debut in 2020, Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins’, has taken viewers from Paris to Rome, Venice, Saint-Tropez and Megève. The next chapter continues the travel-heavy storyline exploring the scenic locations of Greece and Monaco.
While plot details remain under wraps, the season 5 finale offered a possible direction. Gabriel’s character, played by Lucas Bravo, leaves Emily a note inviting her to meet him in Greece following her breakup with Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini, hinting at a new romantic twist and another glamorous setting.
Series creator Darren Star has previously said storylines remain fluid as writing progresses, adding that plans often evolve during development.
The finale also saw Mindy, played by Ashley Park, become engaged to Nicolas, portrayed by Paul Forman. However, Star has hinted that the relationship may not be straightforward in the next season.
Lily Collins has also expressed enthusiasm about a potential Greek setting, saying she would love to see Mindy’s storyline continue there.
Returning cast members are expected to include Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Lucien Laviscount, Samuel Arnold and Bruno Gouery, alongside Collins, Bravo and Park.
All previous seasons of Emily in Paris are available to stream on Netflix.
