Singer Shapla Paul has found fresh inspiration through a recent workshop, which she says helped strengthen her confidence and broaden her perspective amid a period of illness.
The singer, known for her popularity among contemporary music listeners, recently shared her experience of attending ‘The Scholarship Winning PhD Proposal’ workshop.
She said the session offered an opportunity to learn new things, reflect on herself and develop a more mature outlook.
Professor Mohammad Faisal Ahmed led the session, which Shapla described as both informative and inspiring.
“ A few days ago, I had the opportunity to attend a wonderful workshop. Professor Mohammad Faisal Ahmed conducted an inspiring and insightful session that not only boosted my confidence but also helped make my thoughts and perspective clearer, deeper and more mature,” she said.
Shapla added that the experience went beyond a conventional workshop, giving her the chance to discover new ideas, find inspiration and build meaningful connections.
“It was not just a workshop; it was an enriching experience of learning something new, discovering myself more deeply, finding inspiration and building heartfelt connections. I sincerely thank Professor Mohammad Faisal Ahmed and everyone associated with the Academy of Business Professionals (ABP) for making the session so meaningful, beautiful and memorable. I feel truly grateful and happy to have been part of such a valuable experience,” she said.
Despite her recent health difficulties, Shapla has continued to take part in musical programmes. She recently performed live on a music show on Mohona Television and also sang at an event organised by the Jamalpur Association.
The singer is currently in Chattogram, spending Durga Puja with her family.
Shapla said she has no immediate plans to release a new original song. For now, she is hopeful that listeners will continue to discover and enjoy the songs already available on YouTube.
She said knowing that people take the time to listen to her existing work would make her feel fulfilled as an artiste.
