In a press release issued on Thursday, Bangladesh Academy has stated that the Amar Ekushey Boi Mela for 2026 will be held this year, beginning on December 17, 2025.
Since the 13th National Parliamentary Elections are to be held sometime during the first half of February, Bangla Academy authorities have decided to bring the yearly book fair forward.
The annual Amar Ekushey Boi Mela is usually held throughout the month of February with thousands in attendance.
