Authorities have restricted the entry of visitors and accompanying persons at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka to ensure passenger service, security, and operational discipline.
The airport authorities issued a notice in this regard.
For special operational and security reasons, entry into the airport premises will be completely prohibited for all visitors and non‑travelling accompanying persons from 6pm on 24 December to 6pm on 25 December.
During this period, only passengers with valid travel documents will be allowed to enter the airport area.
The authorities have sought the sincere cooperation of passengers and all concerned in complying with the restriction in the interest of maintaining smooth airport operations and security.
