A total of 49 individuals, suspected to be involved in various crimes, have been arrested in the last 24 hours under Operation Devil Hunt phase-2 by Mugda, Jatrabari, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, and Rupnagar police stations of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter in a press release on Friday.
Among them, Mugda Police Station arrested 18, Jatrabari Police Station arrested 13, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station arrested four, and Rupnagar Police Station arrested 14 individuals.
The arrestees have been sent to the court.
