According to the case statement, the accused abused their power as public servants and created false records regarding a plot in Gulshan.

The property, identified as CEN (D) 27, Holding No‑29, Road No‑104, was listed as abandoned property under the B list in a gazette published by the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.

The chargesheet alleges the defendants facilitated misappropriation of the 27‑katha plot by allowing its mutation and transfer without it being officially released from the abandoned property list.

The case was filed under the Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947.
