The verdict copies in the crimes against humanity case against ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, and former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun have not been sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs or other concerned offices.

The International Crimes Tribunal administration confirmed that although the copies were scheduled to be dispatched on Tuesday, this did not happen because Justice Golam Mortuza Mozumder, chairman of International Crimes Tribunal-1, was unwell.

On Monday, ICT-1 announced its verdict against the three accused in the case filed over crimes against humanity committed during the July mass uprising.

Hasina and Asaduzzaman were sentenced to death in the case. As a state witness, former IGP Mamun was sentenced to five years in prison.

The verdict was delivered by a bench led by Justice Golam Mortuza Majumder, along with Justice Md Shafiul Alam Mahmud and Justice Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury.
