Community Bank Bangladesh PLC launched “Community EWA 360”, a digital payroll solution, following its 74th board meeting held at Police Headquarters in Dhaka on 16 April.
Community Bank Chairman and Bangladesh Police Inspector General Md Ali Hossain Fakir chaired the meeting, the bank said.
The platform is designed to strengthen payroll banking by enabling faster and more flexible access to earned wages, supporting financial inclusion.
The bank said the solution allows customers to submit service requests, access funds instantly, track transactions and view account statements through its mobile app, Community Cash.
The launch event was attended by Bangladesh Police Additional IG Admin A K M Awlad Hossain, Additional IG Finance Md Akram Hossain BPM Sheba, Additional IG Development Md Sibgat Ullah BPM Sheba PPM, Additional IG Special Branch Sarder Nurul Amin BPM Sheba and Additional IG and Police Staff College Rector Kazi Md Fazlul Karim BPM Sheba.
Deputy Inspector General Confidential Md Kamrul Ahsan, Additional DIG Highway Police Muntashirul Islam PPM, Additional DIG Bangladesh Police Kallyan Trust Ahmad Muyeed BPM Sheba and Bangladesh Police Inspector Kamrul Hasan Talukdar were also present.
Community Bank Independent Director Syed Rafiqul Haq and Independent Director Mohammed Tofazzul Hussain FCA attended the event.
Community Bank Managing Director Current Charge Kimiwa Saddat and other senior officials were present.
