Community Bank Bangladesh PLC approved its audited financial statements for 2025 and declared a cash dividend at its 7th Annual General Meeting held at Police Headquarters in Dhaka on Sunday.
The meeting was chaired by Md Ali Hossain Fakir, Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh, and Chairman of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, who outlined the bank’s future growth strategy and reaffirmed its commitment to expanding services beyond its traditional customer base, the bank said in a press release.
Addressing shareholders, Ali Hossain Fakir said Community Bank was not only a bank for members of Bangladesh Police but also a financial institution serving the broader public.
He said the bank’s growth would continue through the introduction of community-based innovative products and smart banking solutions designed to meet the needs of people from all walks of life.
The chairman also highlighted the bank’s future priorities, including improving business performance and customer experience through technology-driven products and service innovations aimed at reaching distant and marginalised communities.
He said the bank would continue investing in human resource development to strengthen a “service first” culture and enhance customer service standards.
Shareholders at the meeting adopted the bank’s audited financial statements for the year ended 2025 and approved the cash dividend declaration.

Also attending were Kazi Md Fazlul Karim, BPM (Sheba), Additional Inspector General and Rector, Police Staff College, Bangladesh Police; Md Kamrul Ahsan, Deputy Inspector General (Confidential), Bangladesh Police; Muntashirul Islam, PPM, Additional Deputy Inspector General (Highway Police), Bangladesh Police; and Ahmad Muyeed, BPM (Sheba), Additional Deputy Inspector General, Bangladesh Police Kallyan Trust.
The meeting was further attended by Kamrul Hasan Talukdar, Inspector, Bangladesh Police; Syed Rafiqul Haq, Independent Director; Mohammed Tofazzul Hussain FCA, Independent Director; Shamsul Haque Sufyani, Managing Director (Current Charge), Community Bank Bangladesh PLC; and Saiful Alam FCS, Company Secretary of the bank.
Community Bank said it would continue to focus on innovation, technology adoption and service enhancement as part of its strategy to strengthen customer engagement and expand access to banking services across Bangladesh.
