A delegation led by the Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Yao Wen, has paid a courtesy call on BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
The meeting took place on Wednesday evening at the BNP chairperson’s office in Dhaka’s Gulshan, according to a press statement.
BNP’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and BNP’s Joint Secretary General Humayun Kabir were also present during the meeting with the ambassador.
The press briefing stated that the meeting covered the friendly relations between the two countries, mutual cooperation, and various aspects of working together in the days ahead.
