The remaining tenure of the Chief Adviser’s Principal Secretary, M. Siraj Uddin Mia, has been cancelled.
The Ministry of Public Administration informed in a notification on Monday that this appointment has been cancelled in response to his application.
The notification was issued from the Ministry’s Contract and Foreign Recruitment Branch.
Earlier in the day, Siraj Uddin Mia submitted his resignation to Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus.
Following the fall of the Awami League government in the July mass uprising, Siraj Uddin Mia was appointed as the Chief Adviser’s Principal Secretary on a two-year contract in October 2024. Accordingly, his contract tenure was set to end this coming October.
