The proctorial teams of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) and Uttara University held a collaborative meeting to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions and explore future joint initiatives aimed at promoting a disciplined, safe and student-friendly campus environment.
Hosted by Uttara University at its campus on Wednesday, the meeting focused on strategies to ensure campus peace, discipline and student welfare. Both universities underscored the importance of fostering a supportive and academically conducive atmosphere for students.
During the session, the teams shared best practices on campus monitoring systems, student engagement and proactive disciplinary measures. The discussion also touched upon potential joint workshops, knowledge-sharing activities and future collaborative programmes.
Uttara University Proctor Professor ASM Shahabuddin said the meeting reflected the institutions’ shared commitment to boundary-spanning collaboration. He stressed the need for joint workshops under the “mind over muscle” theme to help students balance discipline and personal development.
BUFT Proctor Dr SM Akterujjaman said the partnership between the two universities would stand as a testament to their shared vision and commitment to academic excellence. “This enduring alliance will continue to inspire and symbolise our commitment to mutual growth, innovation and excellence,” he said.
