A total of 102 students secured GPA-5, while Lalmonirhat ranked third in pass rate among the eight districts under the Dinajpur Education Board.

Across those eight districts, 49 institutions recorded zero pass rates, including the six in Lalmonirhat.

Parents blamed irregular classroom teaching and severe teacher shortages, particularly in institutions in remote areas and riverine chars, for the poor results.

Repeated attempts to contact the district education officer for comment were unsuccessful.
