Fagun Audio Vision has produced ‘Bhalobasar Bishesh Panchphoron’ to mark Valentine’s Day. The programme, which has been broadcast on various special occasions for nearly two decades, has been presented this year with a refreshed format and diverse arrangements.
‘Panchphoron’ is essentially a magazine-style programme, with no fixed presenter. Each segment is delivered dramatically, which is one of the show’s defining features. Star artists from across the country take on the roles of presenters.
At the heart of this year’s edition is a couple who spend Valentine’s Day at home rather than going out. The main structure of the programme revolves around their daily life, exploring love, relationships and everyday experiences.
Popular actors Sajal Noor and Sarika Sabrin play the husband and wife. Interspersed with their activities are songs, dances, dramas and reports on contemporary issues.
The programme features two songs. One, with lyrics by Kabir Bakul, is sung by Akhi Alamgir, with music and arrangement by Shawkat Ali Emon. Another duet, with lyrics by Moniruzzaman Palash, is performed by Kamal and Tanjina Ruma, with music and arrangement by Naved Parvez. In addition, there is a special dance by local dancers from Barisal, set to a popular folk tune and directed by Murad.
The programme also includes a contemporary report on Kazi Maulana Faruk Hossain, known as ‘Rosh Kaka’, who is taking innovative steps to preserve the palm tradition of Jessore. Viewers will also see a special report on an extraordinary fox in the area, alongside a light-hearted drama on love.
Bhalobasar Bishesh Panchphoron will air on ATN Bangla on Saturday, February 14, at 8:50 pm. The programme is presented courtesy of Keya Cosmetics Limited and produced by Fagun Audio Vision.
