The Bangladesh EPZ Investors’ Association (BEPZIA) has elected 21 directors from eight export processing zones and named SM Khan president for the 2026–27 term, as the organisation moves to strengthen cooperation among local and foreign investors.

The elections took place during BEPZIA’s annual general meetings (AGMs) for 2024 and 2025, held at the CEPZ Investors’ Club in Chattogram on Thursday, 15 October, with approximately 200 investors attending to review financial reports and recognise leading contributors to Bangladesh’s industrial sector, the association said in a press release.

Khan, who is also managing director of Section Seven Ltd, presided over the meetings and urged members to remain actively involved in the association’s future initiatives.
