Banglalink has launched a FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign that will reward users with 1GB of bonus internet for every goal scored in a live match, turning match results into data benefits for football fans across Bangladesh.
The country’s digital operator announced the campaign in Dhaka on June 21, making the offer available to both prepaid and postpaid customers nationwide, the company said in a press release.
To receive the reward, customers must purchase any 30-day internet pack or mixed bundle through the MyBL App or MFS channels while a World Cup fixture is live. No special pack is required, Banglalink said, adding that the campaign is designed to provide a simple and seamless experience for users.
The bonus data will be calculated based on the number of goals scored in eligible live matches. There is no cap on the amount of bonus data a user can accumulate, and there is no limit on the number of eligible packs customers may purchase during the campaign.
Banglalink said the structure means high-scoring matches will directly translate into more data for customers.
The bonus data will be credited within 72 hours of each match and will remain valid for seven days. The company said the validity period will allow customers to stream highlights, share celebrations and stay connected after the final whistle.
“Football is not just a sport in this country, it is an emotion that unites millions,” said Kazi Mahboob Hassan, Chief Marketing Officer of Banglalink.
“Every four years, the World Cup brings people together in a way that no other sporting event can. We wanted Banglalink to be part of that joy, and with Goal Bonus, every goal scored on the pitch puts more data in the hands of our fans, which is our way of celebrating alongside them, and our way of making sure that when the goals keep coming, our fans feel it too,” he said.
The company said the Goal Bonus Campaign aims to bring fans closer to the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026 by turning every goal into a rewarding digital experience.
Banglalink said it continues to create meaningful and engaging experiences as millions of people come together to celebrate the world’s biggest sporting tournament.
The operator said the campaign is part of its effort to keep customers connected to moments that matter most.
World Cup fans will also be able to watch the tournament through subscription packages available on the Ryze App, Toffee App and MyBL Super App.
