Banglalink, the country’s one of the leading digital operator in the country, has been honoured with four prestigious recognitions at the CIPS Asia Excellence in Procurement and Supply Awards 2026.
This achievement reaffirms the company’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and social impact within the international procurement landscape. Organised by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), the ceremony took place in Singapore from 7 to 9 July 2026.
Regarded as a premier accolade in the Asia-Pacific region, these awards celebrate organisations that exhibit outstanding innovation and strategic excellence in supply chain management. Banglalink competed against leading multinational organisations to secure honours in categories focusing on social value, sustainability, and risk management.
Ashik Shobhan, Supply Chain Management Director of Banglalink, stated that the recognition reflects the dedication and strategic vision of the procurement team.
He noted that winning across four categories on a global platform demonstrates the company’s success in embedding operational excellence and social value into its procurement practices.
The company secured the title of winner for the ‘Best Initiative to Deliver Social Value through Procurement’ for its ‘Procurement Enabling Inclusive Digital Education’ project, led by Category Manager Qazi Sanzid Ahmed.
Additionally, it won the ‘Best Sustainability Project of the Year’ for the ‘Carbon-Smart Green Microwave Connectivity’ initiative, represented by Category Manager Nazirul Islam Khan.
Banglalink was also named the runner-up for the ‘Best Approach to Risk Mitigation’ for its ‘RAN (Radio Access Network) Transformation’ project, represented by Senior Category Manager Abdullah Al Faruque. Moreover, the company received runner-up recognition for ‘Procurement Team of the Year’, represented by Ashik Shobhan.
