Bangladesh has welcomed the temporary ceasefire in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, describing the move as an encouraging development towards de-escalation in the region.
In a statement issued Wednesday, Bangladesh expressed hope that all involved parties would respect the Middle East ceasefire and utilise this opportunity constructively to work towards a durable and sustainable resolution.
The government further emphasised the importance of restoring lasting peace and stability across the entire region. Bangladesh also expressed its appreciation to all parties that participated in the diplomatic efforts to facilitate the ceasefire.
Reiterating its stance on international conflict, Bangladesh maintained that all disputes can and should be resolved peacefully through the use of dialogue and diplomacy.
