At a recent Daayra trailer launch, Kareena Kapoor spoke about motherhood and raising her two sons, Taimur and Jeh, with a focus on kindness and emotional openness, states Hindustan Times.

The actor, who is married to Saif Ali Khan, said she wants her children to grow up as kind and responsible individuals. She also stressed that boys should not be discouraged from showing vulnerability.

Kareena said she often prays that her sons grow up to be kind, adding that society should move away from the idea that sensitivity is limited to girls.

She explained that she tells her son that crying is perfectly acceptable when he feels the need to.

According to Kareena, children should be allowed to experience and understand their emotions rather than suppress them.

The actor also spoke about her experience working with filmmaker Meghna Gulzar at the event.

Taimur, Kareena and Saif’s elder son, has remained in the public spotlight since his birth in December 2016.

His appearances have frequently attracted attention from fans and paparazzi, and he became one of the most recognisable celebrity children in India.
