Bangladesh will take on Kazakhstan in the fifth-to-eighth place semi-finals of the Hero Men’s Asia Cup Hockey, scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) at the Bihar Sports University Hockey Stadium in Rajgir, India. The match is set to begin at 3 pm Bangladesh time.
Bangladesh missed out on a place in the main semi-finals after finishing third in Group B with three points.
In their group stage campaign, Bangladesh started with a 4-1 defeat to Malaysia, before bouncing back with an 8-3 victory over Chinese Taipei. However, their hopes of progressing were dashed following a 5-1 loss to five-time champions South Korea in their final group match.
