Bangladesh will play their first bilateral series in Australia when they face the hosts in three ODIs in Brisbane next month.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced a 16 member squad for the tour on Wednesday. Nigar Sultana Joty will lead the team, with Nahida Akter serving as her deputy.
Bangladesh will leave for Australia on October 3. They will have their first practice session at Allan Border Field on October 5.
The team will then face Queensland in a warm up match in Brisbane on October 6. Two more practice sessions will follow before the ODI series begins.
All three ODIs will take place at Allan Border Field. The first match is scheduled for October 9, followed by the second on October 11 and the final game on October 14. All three matches will start at 1:50 pm local time.
Bangladesh will leave Australia on October 15.
Marufa Akter has been included in the squad despite taking a break from the upcoming Women’s NCL T20 to manage her workload.
