Popular Bangladeshi singers Asif Akbar and Baby Naznin have reunited for a new romantic duet titled Shopno Ghuri, marking their return to recording together after a long hiatus.
The song’s lyrics have been written by Pradip Saha, while the music has been arranged by Monowar Hossain Tutul.
Filming for the music video was completed last week at several scenic locations in Mawa. The video has been directed by Selim Reza and features Sajjad Chowdhury and River Alam Rakhi as the lead models. Choreography has been handled by Gourab Gogo.
Speaking about the project, director Selim Reza said the music video would be released soon on the Soundtek YouTube channel.
“Shopno Ghuri is a deeply romantic song. It has been a privilege to direct a music video featuring two legendary artists like Asif Akbar and Baby Naznin,” he said.
He also thanked Sultan Mahmud Babul, the head of Soundtek, for giving him the opportunity to work on the project.
“I also have plans to direct several more music videos featuring songs by Asif Bhai, which will be released gradually,” he added.
Even before its release, Shopno Ghuri has generated considerable excitement among music lovers. With its romantic theme and picturesque locations, the production team is optimistic that both the song and its music video will resonate with audiences.
