The 17th Asia Pharma Expo 2026 and Asia Lab Expo 2026 ended on Tuesday after a three-day exhibition at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre, the organisers said in a press release.
The event, held from 28 March, drew entrepreneurs, buyers, and industry professionals exploring pharmaceutical technologies, raw materials, and drug formulations.
More than 400 companies from over 20 countries took part, including China, Germany, India, Italy, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Over 200 participants were from China, reflecting growing engagement of Chinese suppliers in Bangladesh’s pharmaceutical sector.
The exhibition featured pharmaceutical processing and packaging solutions, active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients, laboratory instruments, cleanroom and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, water management, and turnkey services.
Organised by Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI), the expo has played a role in linking local manufacturers with global suppliers over the past two decades.
The organisers said the platform continues to support technology transfer, product development, and industry collaboration, contributing to Bangladesh’s rise as a supplier of generic medicines.
