Akij Renewable Energy & Automobiles Limited (AREAL) has launched “Forthing Friday,” a modern electric sports SUV, at a ceremony at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden, marking its appointment as the exclusive distributor of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor in Bangladesh.
A visiting delegation from Forthing attended the launch along with AREAL senior management, car dealers, banking partners, corporate fleet customers and media, said a press release on Thursday.
The vehicle features a 500km driving range, a 5-star safety rating, and advanced intelligent technology. AREAL offers an end-to-end electric transport ecosystem including passenger and commercial vehicles, electric buses, charging infrastructure, financing and after-sales services.
Akij Venture Group Chairman Sheikh Shamim Uddin said the company is offering a guarantee instead of a conventional warranty on the vehicle, reflecting confidence in its quality and reliability.
