The 18th Academic Council meeting of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB) was held on Thursday at its Dhaka campus. The meeting was chaired by Air Vice Marshal AKM Manirul Bahar, vice chancellor of AAUB.
Bahar opened the session by emphasising the council’s role in shaping the university’s research, education, and innovation. He highlighted the challenges posed by global competition and technological advancement and stressed the need for an educational programme that integrates talent, values and mindset to guide students toward both professional and personal excellence.
Bahar also announced updates to the university’s curriculum and the expansion of research-based education, in line with previous decisions.
Following his speech, the agenda items were thoroughly discussed, and decisions were then made accordingly. The meeting was also attended by members of Bangladesh Air Force, BUET, BMU, and MIST.
