BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury has claimed that a sheaf of paddy tsunami is coming, one that will wipe away all evil forces.

He made the remark while delivering the chief guest’s speech at an election rally at Lohagara Bus Stand on Satkania Road on Sunday.

He said, “A sheaf of paddy tide isn’t coming, it will be a tsunami. All evil forces will be swept away in this tsunami. A qualitative change is needed in politics. Good people, gentle people must come to parliament. Victory for the sheaf of paddy is assured on the 12th.”

Khosru said, “The movement has not ended; the movement will end on the 12th, when the election results come in our hands. The polling centres must be guarded; otherwise, they will devour the paddy. If we cannot succeed on the 12th, then all the years of movements, struggles, and sacrifices will be wasted.”

He further stated, “No obstacle or adversity can stand before the BNP. The people of Satkania will create a sheaf of paddy revolution on the 12th. This soil of Satkania-Lohagara is fertile soil; it is the stronghold of Shaheed Zia, Khaleda Zia, and Tarique Rahman. The sheaf of paddy must be brought back to Satkania-Lohagara; BNP must be brought back.”

Later, Khosru joined an election rally at the head of Satkania Road and delivered the chief guest’s speech.

The rally was presided over by South District BNP senior member Sheikh Muhammad Mahiuddin.
