Japan will get another shot at Brazil just months after their painful World Cup exit.
The two teams will meet in Singapore in November as part of a four team international tournament.
Brazil knocked Japan out of the 2026 World Cup in the round of 32. Gabriel Martinelli scored a late goal in Houston to seal a 2 to 1 win for Brazil.
Now Hajime Moriyasu’s team will have an early chance to face the five time world champions again.
Japan and Brazil will meet on November 14. The match will be part of the Mizuho Blue Challenge, which will run from November 13 to 17 during the FIFA international window.
Paraguay and hosts Singapore are the other two teams in the tournament.
Singapore will face Paraguay in the opening match at the National Stadium on November 13. Japan will then take on Brazil the following day.
The tournament will end with two matches on November 17. Singapore will play Brazil before Japan face Paraguay.
