Mahtab Uddin Ahmed FCMA, president of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), led a delegation to meet with Dr Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder, secretary of the Finance Division, on September 8.
The meeting centered on the development of the Cost and Management Accounting (CMA) profession in Bangladesh, with the ICMAB delegation seeking support and collaboration from the Ministry of Finance.
Dr Khairuzzaman Mozumder commended the significant contributions of CMAs to the country’s economic growth and assured the delegation of continued cooperation to further strengthen the profession.
Also present at the meeting were ICMAB former president Mohammed Salim FCMA, Council Member Mohammed Jahangir Alam FCMA, and Executive Director Md Mahbub-Ul-Alam FCMA.
