Apollo Clinic launched in Dhaka

Apollo Clinic, a subsidiary of India’s Apollo Hospitals, has officially launched in Dhaka, offering world-class healthcare services to the people of Bangladesh. The clinic is operated by JMI Specialized Hospital Limited, a subsidiary of JMI Group, under a licensing agreement.

The inaugural event, held on Saturday evening, included a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 64, Sat Masjid Road, Dhanmondi, marking Apollo Clinic’s first venture in Bangladesh. Founder and Managing Director of JMI Group Md. Abdur Razzaq led the event, with notable attendees such as Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries President Abdul Muktadir, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited Head of Franchise Business Tarun Gulati, and JMI Specialized Hospital Limited CEO Dr. Tamjeed Alam.

Dr. Alam outlined the services provided by Apollo Clinic, highlighting specialized consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy, and advanced healthcare facilities including a 100-bed ward, ICU, NICU, PICU, and day-care chemotherapy.

Md. Abdur Razzaq emphasized that the clinic will bring high-quality healthcare, utilizing the latest technology and skilled local professionals. He added that similar clinics will be established across Bangladesh to expand access to world-class healthcare.

Tarun Gulati expressed confidence in the partnership with JMI Group, recognizing it as one of Bangladesh’s leading healthcare brands.
